WallArk was born from a simple realization: there was no interior design concept on the market that was classically elegant, yet easy to use and meets modern requirements. That's why we developed one.
We started by looking for a factory that could supply us with the most ecologically produced products that would meet modern requirements. Our Western European factory has been a pioneer in the use of innovative materials since 1950. The entire production process, from design to product manufacturing, takes place in Belgium, and all designs are protected.
As a market leader in high-quality and technological interior mouldings, they have made significant investments to reduce our carbon footprint. A large part of the energy needed to manufacture our products comes from the sun, and all production is done using renewable energy. All products made from extruded polystyrene are 100% recyclable, and none of our products contain toxic gases, CFCs or HCFCs. Waste material is collected and used in the manufacture of new products.
Our collection was curated with the help of interior design professionals, as we didn’t want the selection to be too extensive, but everything should fit together. We started developing our online store in 2017, which we launched in spring 2018. There are no similar products for sale in other online stores in Finland. We originally had 23 products in our selection. Over the years, we have added both new products and materials to our selection, so we currently have a total of 35 different products. We also wanted to make it easier to access our products, and for this reason we moved our warehouse to Kamppi, near the center of Helsinki, in the fall of 2021. In the summer of 2022, we found a suitable commercial space right next to our warehouse, where we decided to open our first showroom. Our showroom is located at Lönnrotinkatu 39 b and our warehouse is at Lönnrotinkatu 43 b.
